When doing circuit training, it’s important to ensure that you’re getting a good mix of exercises. This will help you work different muscle groups, which is necessary for overall fitness. Generally speaking, you should include both aerobic and anaerobic exercises in your routine. For the aerobic portion, you might do jogging, cycling, or swimming, while for the anaerobic section, you might perform squats, lunges, and push-ups. To really challenge yourself, you can even combine different exercises for a superset.

To get the most out of circuit training, make sure you’re pushing yourself a little bit harder each time. You can do this by increasing the intensity of your workout or the number of reps you’re doing. Additionally, it’s important that you give your body sufficient rest between sessions. Taking one to two days off in between each session allows your body to recover and rebuild muscle.

In general, two to three days is usually sufficient, although you may need to adjust this depending on your needs.
