No matter what type of circuit you’re building, resistors are an essential component. These tiny components are responsible for controlling the flow of electricity in a circuit, allowing us to control the voltage and current in order to accurately power the different components in the circuit. Without resistors, circuits would be highly unpredictable, leaving us with components that don’t perform correctly or might even burn out.

So why do we use resistors in circuits? To answer this question, it’s important to look at the way electricity works in a circuit. When electricity is sent through a component, like a lightbulb or motor, it passes through a certain amount of resistance. This resistance limits the amount of current that can pass through the component, which in turn affects the way the component behaves. In conclusion, resistors are essential components in any circuit.
